70D Canon EOS Camera: Sharp Focus On Video

70D Canon EOS camera is a newest mid-range Digital SLR from Canon, that heavily borrows from its successful predecessors - but is also, in a way, revolutionary. It is already clear that this camera will be well-received, because its price is in a good range, and its features are well-built. With 70D Canon EOS, you can take both quality still images and video!
This 20-megapixel camera is the first DSLR camera that boasts revolutionary auto-focus dual-pixel technology. Combining the focus methods used in compact cameras and those used in DSLRs into the one camera, dual-pixel technology is designed to improve auto-focus performance in live view and movie mode. And it's succeeding wildly in this.
Of course, Canon 70D specs also include manual-focus updates. Touch-screen interface for live-view and video recording will be a welcome addition to Canon 70D specs for many. This high-resolution 75mm LCD with improved viewfinder gives an accurate review of the captured image. Focusing with a touch-screen is swift and easy; there's an option for touch-screen to fire shutter too.
It has built-in Wi-Fi for wireless control and file transfer: the camera can communicate with a smartphone via EOS Remote app for iPhone and Android. Unfortunately, enabling Wi-Fi disables video!
The photos are crisp and clear, with plenty of detail: image quality, colors and resolution is overall good. There are seven creative filters built in to the camera: Art Bold, Fish-eye, Water Painting, Grainy Black and White, Soft Focus, Toy Camera, and Miniature. However, they can only be used when shooting JPEG images.
What really sets 70D Canon apart is its video capability: it can capture video in full HD quality, with built-in stereo. Continuous auto-focus in the video mode means that for the first time you can really use the auto-focus in video mode like in a regular camcorder. Too bad that this camera only has one SD card slot!
