70D Canon EOS Camera: Sharp Focus On Video

70D Canon EOS camera is a newest mid-range Digital SLR from Canon, that heavily borrows from its successful predecessors - but is also, in a way, revolutionary. It is already clear that this camera will be well-received, because its price is in a good range, and its features are well-built. With 70D Canon EOS, you can take both quality still images and video!
This 20-megapixel camera is the first DSLR camera that boasts revolutionary auto-focus dual-pixel technology. Combining the focus methods used in compact cameras and those used in DSLRs into the one camera, dual-pixel technology is designed to improve auto-focus performance in live view and movie mode. And it's succeeding wildly in this.
Of course, Canon 70D specs also include manual-focus updates. Touch-screen interface for live-view and video recording will be a welcome addition to Canon 70D specs for many. This high-resolution 75mm LCD with improved viewfinder gives an accurate review of the captured image. Focusing with a touch-screen is swift and easy; there's an option for touch-screen to fire shutter too.
It has built-in Wi-Fi for wireless control and file transfer: the camera can communicate with a smartphone via EOS Remote app for iPhone and Android. Unfortunately, enabling Wi-Fi disables video!
The photos are crisp and clear, with plenty of detail: image quality, colors and resolution is overall good. There are seven creative filters built in to the camera: Art Bold, Fish-eye, Water Painting, Grainy Black and White, Soft Focus, Toy Camera, and Miniature. However, they can only be used when shooting JPEG images.
What really sets 70D Canon apart is its video capability: it can capture video in full HD quality, with built-in stereo. Continuous auto-focus in the video mode means that for the first time you can really use the auto-focus in video mode like in a regular camcorder. Too bad that this camera only has one SD card slot!
Canon 70D specs include:
  • 2MP APS-C Dual Pixel CMOS AF sensor
  • DIGIC 5+ image processor
  • ISO 100-12800 standard, 25600 expanded
  • 7fps continuous shooting, burst depth 65 JPEG / 16 RAW
  • "Silent" shutter mode
  • 1080p30 video recording, stereo sound via external mic
  • 19-point AF system, all points cross-type, sensitive to -0.5 EV
  • 63-zone iFCL metering system
  • 98% viewfinder coverage, 0.95x magnification, switchable gridlines and electronic level display
  • Fully-articulated touchscreen, 1040k dot 3" ClearView II LCD, 3:2 aspect ratio
  • Single SD/SDHC/SDXC card slot
  • Built-in Wi-Fi
  • Single-axis electronic level
  • Built-in flash works as off-camera remote flash controller
  • AF micro-adjustment (can be set individually for up to 40 lenses, remembered by lens serial number)
  • In-camera High Dynamic Range and Multiple Exposure modes (JPEG-only)
  • "Creative Filter" image processing styles, previewed in live view
When it comes to the price, Canon 70D costs are (approximately) for body-only: £1079 / $1199 / €1099, as a kit with the EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM £1199.99 / $1340 / €1249, or with the EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM lens £1399.99 $1549 / €1499.

Seymour Duncan SFX-04 Twin Tube Mayhem Distortion Guitar Effects Pedal

This is the latest guitar distortion pedal in the Twin Tube line from Seymour Duncan and it's well and truly built to achieve a mid-range scooped metal guitar sound. The pedal also features a boost button which will put your distortion over the top for solos. The tubes in this pedal are 62051 pentode tubes which will last a lifetime without needing to be replaced and will deliver great distortion for everything from old school metal to modern thrash.
The Twin Tube Mayhem allows the tubes to really reach their full potential with a 100% vacuum tube signal, this also allows for the maximum in dynamic range to be achieved. As already stated, the pedal is built for metal guitar and the levels of distortion are already very high even with the knob at just 25%. In the higher reaches with the distortion levels on maximum you get some great harmonic response particularly on artificial harmonics produced with the pick.
The boost function is selectable between 4 to 8dB which allows you to set up the correct levels between your rhythm and lead sounds. As with most quality pedals of this kind it features a true bypass and is very quiet in its operation due to a encapsulated toroidal transformer. The pedal is clearly built to last and it's circuitry is housed inside a very rugged steel chassis which should be ultra dependable no matter what kind of abuse it suffers at gigs or on the road.
If you're in the market for a metal distortion pedal and want to stay true to tube distortion then give this pedal a try. It's from a quality manufacturer and getting good review ratings from the other people who have bought it.

Young Men, Video Games, and Goal Setting - A Winning Combination?

Young Men Today Are Often Viewed In an Unfairly Negative Way
Young men today often feel betrayed and angry at what they perceive as unjust betrayals aimed at their attempts to do something... be something or someone... accomplish something or make something... design something or... , etc. Therefore, to the average onlooker, they appear to have given up on enterprise and they are portrayed as lazy, thoughtless, never-do-wells, who spend their youth sleeping, drinking, fighting, and throwing their lives and their potential away playing frivolous video games. Perhaps they are being judged just a wee bit harshly, especially on the part of 'throwing their potential away on useless video games.'
I cannot pretend to know why young men sleep so much or why they drink, or fight. But, with new jobs so hard to come by anymore, and so many young men out of work due to no fault of their own, it is understandable that they have turned to other means of passing the time. These are all things that will most likely be abandoned as the economy eases up and more young men become job-holders and contributing members of society.
The main thing that we might take exception to is the phrase, '... throwing their potential away on useless video games.' Even though playing a video game does take a certain amount of time, the young men who play them are far from '... throwing their potential away,' because it is awesome how much old-fashioned brain power is necessary to follow through to the win on many video games. These new games-and some of the older ones-require a special kind of concentration and agile hand-and-body movement just to keep from being wiped out, or left behind in the dust. None of them are for the faint of heart!
Then, we have the word 'useless' attached when many people speak of video games. Useless? Hmm, let's see! It takes a great deal of concentration to stay with a video game, as well as constant control over your slightest hand-and-body movements, and instant knowledge of what your opponent is doing-all qualities that are looked for and demanded for many professional jobs, especially in the ones that lead to top positions within many companies.
When the time arrives and job openings begin to come in again, these young masters of the video games will be on hand to take the cream of the crop. In the meantime, they will keep playing their games and honing their skills as they head into their futures.
Also, maybe so many young men still live at home because they are aware that the 'game of life' has changed since their father's generation, and they are waiting for the change to be completed before moving on. But, paradoxically, until they-as the new order of young men-decide to take their own particular stand in this new world, nothing will be changed. How do they take that stand? Not through the physical things they do.
In order for young men to help the world grow into the kind of place they'd like it to be, they need to help shape it, even as they play their video games. How do they do that? By taking an honest look at their world right now and their place in it, then projecting their vision into the future of what they'd like their world to become, and what they'd truly like their part in it to be.
There is another, hidden, element to playing video games that is not readily recognized. A great deal of thought and planning must be done beforehand if one is to 'beat' a video game. This is exactly the skill that is needed when a young man decides to become a master at goal setting. Once he has decided what he wants his future to become, all he has to do is project the same kind of thoughtful determination into goal setting that he has projected into winning video games.
If you are a young man reading this article, when you are ready to go forward to claim your part into changing this into a better world, ask yourself what skills did you develop while you were busy playing your video games. It may surprise you to know that quick wits and lightning fast movements are the main prerequisites needed to become a video game winner time after time.
Hmm! Sounds like with just a little deliberate goal planning, your generation may already be ahead of the game!

A Quick Introduction to Online Video Marketing

Online video marketing is all the rage at the moment and is showing every sign of continuing to grow for the foreseeable future. Which means that you almost certainly need to include video marketing in your mix. Here's a quick introduction to what you need to do to make sure your video marketing is effective for you.
Choose your topic wisely
Video can rank in both Google and YouTube so you need to check both before you decide how much competition there is and therefore how much effort you'll need to put into promoting the video to get a decent return.
If YouTube has quite a lot of videos with the same - or similar - title as your proposed video that's a good sign (you can check the views to confirm that) but also means it will take more effort to rise above them. On the other hand if there are few - if any - competitng videos that will be easier to rank for but is almost certainly a much smaller market. Six of one, half a dozen of the other in a lot of case.
If Google doesn't have a video on the first two or three pages, that's maybe a good sign, maybe not. The phrase could be wide open for a video to storm onto page one or it could be a phrase where you stand almost zero chance of getting to the first page no matter how much you work on it.
I know I'm hedging my bets but there really are no hard and fast rules and you have to experiment.
That said, lower competition is normally easier to rank for and "lower" competition can be a bigger number for videos than regular written content.
Get the basics right ss
Make sure that the basics are covered in every video you upload:s
  • Video title - snappy, keyword rich, makes sense to humans
  • Video description - long enough for Google and YouTube to know what the video is about, including a link to a relevant page on your website and probably a link back to the video itself in case it gets scraped onto another site
  • Tags - the keywords for your video
  • Captions - correct the ones that YouTube generates automatically
  • Annotations - extra eye candy for your video and ideally a clickable link back to your site
  • Call to action - so that people know what they're expected to do once they've watched the video, rather than scooting off to watch another video on YouTube that isn't yours!
Ethically encourage views
Tweet about your video, add it to your Facebook page, consider adding it to your LinkedIn profile, pin it on Pinterest, embed it on your blog and maybe in Blogger, Tumblr, Squidoo, etc.
Because - even though it may go against the grain - if you don't shout about your video from the proberbial rooftops and let people know it exists, the chances are high that no-one else will either.
So the more you can do to ethically kickstart the views and likes, the better.

Why Should We Install A Video Door Phone Intercom System?

We live in very unpredictable times as we are extremely vulnerable to safety and security issues. There is no alternative to taking precautionary measures in this matter, and people who leave it for later often fall victim to the malicious sections of the society. Therefore, it is of paramount importance that we take up the personal security in our own hands, and secure our home and family. Fortunately, the rapid advancements in technology have provided us with electronic gadgets that can help us live a secure life. Gadgets like video door phone intercom systems are a welcome replacement for the traditional doorbell system as it helps us keep undesired people from having access to our homes.
Most corporate organizations have a system installed wherein guests are scanned by a video camera located outside their gates, and the guest has to introduce himself and state the purpose of the visit through the intercom. Once the requirements are validated, and the security personnel are convinced about the authenticity of the person, the gates are unlocked for the guest's entry. This might seem to be an elaborate and expensive security system, but as a matter of fact, these video door phone intercom systems are available for household purposes as well.
The installation of these systems is extremely simple and can be carried out without professional help. The system consists of an outdoor device, which is typically a camera connected to the rest of the system. Additionally, the device would contain one or multiple indoor devices, which display the video feeds from the outdoor camera. This way, if someone rings your doorbell, you get a live feed of the person standing outside your door. Moreover, the intercom system allows you to communicate with the person before you decide to let the guest in. Other accessories in the video intercom system include adapters, cables and manuals that are required for operating the device.
The outdoor device is generally designed specifically to work in different situations. They are normally resistant to heat, rain and other typical weather conditions. Additionally, these video cameras are equipped with night vision, so as to provide visibility even at night. These cameras provide multiple video angles, which is useful to get a complete view of the situation outside. The indoor kit is generally a TFT device, with features to talk on speaker mode, unlock door remotely and monitor even when the doorbell was not pressed.

Video Games Affecting Children Negatively

Previous studies that have been published that clearly show how violent video games that children play can affect them in a negative manner. In fact, since the turn of the new millennium there have been several studies completed on this issue and the results have all been the same as shown in such issues as the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology.
One such study even went into such detail as to prove that the more graphic the violence in the video games, then the higher the chance of the thoughts and behavior of the child being aggressive. This aggressive behavior was found not only to be found during game play, but it surfaced into more long-term behavior problems for the child where there was a real life impact left on relationships with others due to the aggressiveness of the child.
No matter what type of video game the child is playing, they become the main character within the game or as some psychologists refer to it as the "first person." In the majority of these video games the main character will be the aggressor and thus, the child sees the video game world through the eyes of the character and takes on their personality. Many of these children are in a pretend world of their own when ever they are playing these video games, but the problem comes when they are allowed to be so aggressive within the video games that they do not comprehend pretend and real life.
The worst effects is that the video games places weapons within the hands of the children to enlighten the impact that the character has when ever attempting to destroy his enemy. This only causes the child to become that much more emotionally involved within the video game and the character. The child begins to enjoy destroying the bad guys as the video game becomes more and more addictive to them.
Research studies have shown that as a negative result, the child begins developing behavior that is considered to be some what violent and aggressive by experts. The behavior of the child will continue to deteriorate as they begin assuming within their own little heads that others have similar thoughts as they do, which focus around violence and aggression. The studies also showed that the video games that the children were playing that were violent were a way of programming the violent behaviors within the children over and over again. The result made the aggressive behavior easier to show up in real life unexpectedly.
Other research studies have demonstrated that video games with violent content teach juveniles an unmoral disregard for the value of others, their property rights, and the lives of others as well. They teach the children to see the world as if every one is out to get me, which places them on the defensive and makes them react violent due to feeling unsafe. These addictive video games teaches the children to fight with knives and guns against others in extremely aggressive manners while receiving positive reinforcement from the game for each kill. The kills themselves are explicit with blood, gore, and mayhem such as exploding body parts that also stimulates the child's brain.

The Benefits of Online Video Streaming

lable to anyone who has a computer connected to the internet. This does not only benefit people who are looking to entertain themselves by searching for media online but it is also a very useful tool for schools and universities that give teachers and opportunity to present their courses with rich media materials. Better yet, students are able to access the media files anytime. This is great especially for universities practicing distance learning.
When it comes to distance learning, video on demand is a very good tool because it allows the user to pause and rewind the video in case he or she missed something. This is also the reason why video streaming is in some cases making the learning process more effective.
Video streaming can also be done live. This technology can be very useful for broadcasting live events such as premieres, live concerts, political speeches, etc. Live video streaming is also great as a security tool because it allows monitoring of remote locations in real time. This way anyone on the planet who has an internet connection will be able to watch a live broadcasting with this technology.
Video streaming is also doing great in the world of internet marketing. When it comes to marketing online, video streaming is one of the most powerful tools available, provided you know how to take advantage of this media. Just the way that television commercials are the best advertising media, the internet streaming videos can also be used to capture a large number of audiences.
However, users need to take on a different approach with their videos in order to capture online audiences. While on the television people only need to see flashy videos and catchy music to stop what they were doing and watch a commercial. In the online world things are rarely that simple. Here you need to get a little more creative. What you need is to create a viral effect with your videos. The so-called viral videos benefit from the best exposure in the online world. Videos need to be funny, creative and interesting in order to get people to watch them. However, even if you can't manage to put together a video that has any of these things, your internet marketing efforts will surely get a lot more attention from prospective buyers when you are making use of video streaming.
It is not enough to have a technical knowledge of how video streaming works if you want to be successful with video streaming online. You also need to get more creative and able to give your potential customers a better view of what you are selling. Good commercials are the ones that keep visitors curious and wanting to come back for more.
Whether you are looking to stream videos for teaching purposes or you are trying to advertise your product online then you will need to find a video streaming service. Although there are plenty companies out there that offer such services, the important thing is to make sure that they are reliable. It really can't be good for your business if the service is crashing frequently. Before actually investing in such a service you should first test out the company's services and see how responsive their support is. If you are pleased with them then make your purchase and begin streaming videos online.
You should also take into consideration that there are several platforms for online video streaming. The most popular choices today are Flash Media, Windows Media and Wowza Media, which is a newly developed technology for online video streaming.

Google Nexus 7 Video Converter - Enjoy All Your Videos On Your New Tablet

There is absolutely no argument that the Google Nexus 7 tablet has taken the market by storm. This tablet's 7-inch screen offers 1280*800 high-resolution display and it also can manage more than 9 hours of HD video playback. You will really enjoy watching movies and videos on this sleek looking tablet. In fact, you will have access to a whole lot of movies and television shows available on Google Play Store. The only problem you'll face is that this tablet will not play certain types of videos because they are not compatible with its Android operating system. The only way that you can use your tablet to the maximum is by buying a Google Nexus 7 video converter software program to make the necessary changes.
There are many file formats that are not compatible with the Android operating system. They include WMV, AVI, FLV, MOV, M4V,MTS etc. In fact, your Google Nexus 7 tablet will only support a few video formats such as MPEG-4, AVC, VP8 etc. If you buy a Google Nexus 7 video converter then you can work your way around this limitation which is a very serious one. Not only does your Google Nexus 7 video converter enable you to watch all the videos, movies and shows you have recorded in the unsupported formats, but it also helps you edit these files.
Similarly, you can buy Canon video converter software so that you can use the footage you have shot on your digital camera or camcorder. This company has a very impressive array of cameras and they create certain file formats that might not be compatible with your computer's or tablet's operating system. Many cameras from Canon create AVCHD file format which will not play on a PC or iPad. Here too, the converter software will enable you to play these videos and edit them on any device of your choice.
Be sure to buy Google Nexus 7 video converter or Audio Amplifier converter software that is very easy to use, especially if you are not very comfortable or experienced using computers. It should have a simple interface that allows you to make the changes you require. Further the software should come from a reliable source or else it might not work as intended or might even contain malware. You will then be able to get the maximum enjoyment out of your various cameras, camcorders and tablets or PCs.

Video On-Demand (VOD) Performance

Video traffic is going to be, if not already, the dominant component of the global Internet traffic. It was reported a few months back that traffic from Netflix alone constituted about 20% of the US Internet traffic. In this article, we want to discuss the performance aspects of video applications, video on-demand or video streaming to homes in particular. Other applications such as video conferencing and video file download are good topics for future discussions.
YouTube and Netflix movie on-demand are good examples of VOD or streaming video services. The videos are watched on many devices like PCs/laptops, tablets, smartphones, and smart TVs (or TVs equipped with an external streaming device such as Google TV or Roku).
Video streaming, contrary to the popular assumption, uses the TCP/IP not the UDP/IP protocol. That means the video/audio bits are delivered error-free and in exact sequence (means no communication degradation in transit). If one is watching a 10-minute video clip, the initial packets that are delivered are buffered for a short amount of time (say 30 seconds) and the playing of the video is delayed by that amount. Once the video starts playing, the remaining packets of the video clip are delivered continuously in the background and will keep replenishing the screen. Thus the displaying of the video will be smooth after the initial pause giving the effect of almost being in real-time. Well, let us say most of the time, assuming the network bandwidth and quality are fully adequate.
Many times, the network quality may not be up to par. The bandwidth may vary and get reduced during the playing or there may be packet losses. When the network behaves such, there may not be new bits available for display as they are still arriving slowly or in the process of being retransmitted. A pause status/icon (informing "still loading") will be shown on the screen till fresh bits become Audio Amplifier to be displayed. This pausing may happen for a very short period of time if the connection is randomly degraded for a very brief amount of time. If this condition happens once or twice depending on the total duration of the video stream (say more than 5 minutes), then there is no impact on the user experience.
On the other hand, if one is watching a one-hour video and the network connection is consistently slow or of bad quality, then there will be multiple hiccups during that hour and it is no fun to watch such a video -the user experience takes a definite hit.
I experienced this phenomenon myself recently. I watch old TV shows on Netflix fairly regularly between 9 pm to 11 pm. I never had any user experience issues for the first six-months of this year - perfect rendition. Lately, however, the video pauses not once but several times - I had to almost give up watching these shows. These shows are about 45-minutes long and the total file sizes are about 700 Gbytes. My Internet services are currently provided by Comcast via the cable modem. I generally get download speeds in the range of 4 Mb/s to 10 Mb/s.
Unlike fiber to home, Internet delivered via cable is still shared by many homes in the community. The available bandwidth might drop to the lower end of the range during the prime time or hours of heavy Internet usage. There may be packet losses because of contention. The investigation as to why there is so much stuttering of the video at that time is still inconclusive and needs further study.
Another thing to note here is that in the Application Performance Management (APM) world we have the response time metric for assessing the performance of an interactive App. But for VOD, we know what a bad user experience is but we don't have a standard way of measuring the user experience. This metric should incorporate factors such as the initial amount of delay and the number of pauses (and their duration) encountered during the video delivery.

Top 7 Reasons Why Businesses Need Online Video s

In YouTube alone, these figures can already impress you: second biggest search engine after Google, one hour of video uploaded every second, over 400 billion videos viewed everyday, over 800 million unique users each month, over 3 billion hours of videos watched each month, and more video is uploaded to YouTube in one month than the 3 major U networks created in 60 years. With all those statistics, who would not want to leverage on this medium?
In addition, when a video is present on a product page, customers spend 9% more time in viewing the page than when no video is in there. Statistics also show that 60% of respondents said they would rather watch a video than read texts in a webpage. Also, 22% said they generally like watching videos more than browsing texts for information about a product or service.
Furthermore, 75% of all executives said they watched work-related videos on business websites at least once a week and more than 50% use YouTube to watch those types of videos. Also, in a survey made by Forbes in October 2010, 65% of U.S. executives visit a vendor's website after viewing a work-related online video.
With all those statistics, it is presumed that you have come to understand how crucial videos are in a business website today. Video production companies summarises the reasons for having an online video as follows:
  1. Clients want videos. They enjoy it more than reading texts. If you do not give it to them, your competition will.
  2. Videos provide more content in less time. Watching a video only consumes so little of your customer's precious time. This is the reason also why they would rather watch than read. According to Dr. James McQuivvey of Forrester Research, a minute of video watched equals to 1.8 million words of read text. You can communicate so much information in a short period of time.
  3. Branding. Being complex as it already is, videos help you further shape your brand and convey emotions that you cannot do with mere written words.
  4. Various uses. Videos can be used not only in the business website but on other channels, offline presentations, email marketing campaigns, and on TV in waiting rooms.
  5. Website quality. Videos add to the quality of a website and make it look more professional.
  6. Videos show your personality and profile thus building your reputation in your chosen niche.
  7. Videos are crucial for the future. Online video production recognises the need for one for online business success

How To Repair Dell E151Fpb LCD Monitor - No Display Problem

Dell E151fpb LCD monitor came in with the complaint of no power but upon carefully look at the LCD you could see a very light (blur) white flashes across the screen and the power LED is not lit. Removing the cover was a bit easy compared to other models. As usual whenever the mainboard and power board were exposed, I would look for any bulged capacitor, darkened area, a loosen connector and etc. However this monitor boards looks perfectly okay. The next step was to separate the power/inverter board with the main board. Power was applied to the power board and I could hear a soft 'chip-chip' sound. When I measure the 12 volts line with a digital multimeter, the readout was about 7- 8 volts which was very unusual. In fact this is good news to us because we know what the next step that we should make.
Now we could use a 12 volt automobile brake light bulb to test at which section that is causing the low voltage output problem. If the LCD monitor designed to run on 18 or 24 volts then you could use a light bulb from the big trailer. A defective component in either primary or secondary side could cause low output voltage. Removing the fuse as shown in the photo and connect the bulb between the supply line and the cold ground could tell which section is giving problem. You could use this method but first you must confirm that the secondary filter capacitors, TL431 adjustable precision shunt regulator ic, optoisolators and components surrounding the optoisolator is working before you proceed to use the light bulb.
When the power is on the light bulb still do not lit and the sound still could be heard. This indicates that the primary side is having problem and we can leave the inverter/high voltage area and fully concentrate to locate the faults in the primary section.
This is the time to really test your basic electronics skill because you now know at which area the fault is and you just have to use your skills to locate the exact bad component. There were not much components in the primary side, and you could easily check all of them in less than 20 minutes. After checking all the components I was surprised that all of them tested okay. Primary winding of switch mode power transformer rings 8 bars which indicates good and even the uc3842b PWM power IC replaced the power still won't work! It was quite challenging to troubleshoot this kind of problem where you are hundred percent sure that the primary side is giving problem yet you could not find out the culprit.
Since I had checked all the components and could not locate the fault, the only way that I could do is to direct replace the semiconductor devices such as the diodes, scr, fet, and transistors. From experienced I do encountered semiconductor components breakdown when under full operating voltage. One by one of the semiconductor components I replaced and power on each time I had changed it to see if the bulb light up or not. Guess what, you would not believe what have I just discovered-a defective 2N7000 fet! The moments I have replaced this fet and power on, the bulb immediately light up. I could not believe it was this faulty fet that causes all the output voltages to drop! I was so happy that I eventually solved the problem and who knows this could be a common fault for all DELL E151Fpb LCD monitor- so please take note to all LCD monitor repairer.
I began to check again the defective 2N7000 fet with my analog meter and peak electronic atlas component analyzer and the result is still the same-tested good! Just like flyback transformer, the best testing equipment to test Fet and other components is actually the equipment itself because it runs on full operating voltage, frequency, signal and etc. What you have just learned from here was that if all the suspected components tested good, the only way to reveal the truth is to direct replace the parts. Hope you enjoy this article and more good articles to come everyday! Wishing you all the best and happy repairing!

Digital Video Formats - Codecs Compression and CCTV Video

Digital video, which has many formats, is a highly beneficial tool. Businesses can tap into its neglected power for Internet marketing (the process of promoting, selling, and distributing a product or service 24/7 on the Internet). There is no better way to sell in a global market that makes purchases 24 hours a day than with a well designed website that includes this beneficial tool. It is also involved in many litigation cases and is quickly finding its way into court rooms around the world.
In the following paragraphs, my goal is to help you understand digital video with regard to closed circuit television systems and its many formats.
In its simplest terms, digital video can be defined as a video that has been recorded using a software program and digitally stored in a computer. A CCTV system is a computer. That digitized information can be controlled from a computer and displayed directly on a computer monitor.
All current digital video file formats, which are listed below, are based on PCM or Pulse-code modulation. PCM is a digital representation of an analog signal where the magnitude of the signal is sampled regularly at uniform intervals, then quantized to a series of symbols in a numeric form (usually based on binary code).
Here is a brief catalog of digital video file types so you better understand how it is used.
CCIR 601 (or RE 601) is a file used for broadcast television stations because of the analogue and digital television conversion. This digital video file format converts and encodes interlaced analogue video signals into digital video.
In the old days, television commercials were first distributed on analogue first, then digital tape. Today, TV commercials can be distributed over wireless networks electronically using digital video technology.
Services like SpotMixer allow businesses to create their own commercials on line and distribute them over a plethora of media, including television and the internet.
MPEG-4 is good for online distribution of large videos and video recorded to flash memory. This is a digital format used for video iPods and uploading to YouTube and other social media networks, but keep reading.
MPEG-2 (used for DVDs) is a digital file format used to make DVDs. An MPEG-2 digital video file burned onto a DVD will play video on a DVD player and computer provided the computer has the ability to play DVDs. Some computers with older DVD technology will have difficulty reading DVDs that have been burned with newer technology.
MPEG-1 is used for video CDs and was the first digital video format that was mass marketed. It is rarely used today but occasionally pops up. Many DVD players will play MPEG-1, but not all can read this digital file format.
H.261 was the first truly practical digital video coding standard. In fact, all subsequent international encoding like MPEG-1, H.262, MPEG-2, H.263, MPEG-4, and H.264 (MPEG-4 Part 10) have been based closely on the H.261 design, which is now seldom used.
H.263 is a video codec standard originally designed as a low-bit rate compressed format for videoconferencing. H.263 has since found many applications on the internet: much Flash Video content (as used on sites such as YouTube, Google Video, MySpace, etc.) is encoded in this format.
The original version of Real Video (which I recommend you run away from) was based on H.263 until the release of Real Video 8. In other words, I tell you about H.263 so you can see the legacy.
H.264, also known as MPEG-4 Part 10 or as AVC, is the next enhanced codec developed for sharing digital video on the internet. H.264 provides a significant improvement in capability beyond H.263. The H.263 standard is now considered primarily a legacy design (although this is a recent development).
Most new videoconferencing products now include H.264 as well as H.263 and H.261 capabilities. Primeau Productions uses H 264 digital video in a Quicktime format to send to webmasters for use in encoding Flash video on client websites.
Here is the bottom line: the files above are created using computers-including CCTV systems-and can be viewed with video editing software and digital video file converters.
H.264 technology is an excellent beginning file format for creating Flash video. Video editing software programs can output various sizes of H.264 and be used several ways:
1. A source digital video file to create a Flash video for your website
2. A digital video file that can be emailed
3. A digital video file that can be uploaded to social media like YouTube, Yahoo and Viemo
4. To view a converted CCTV video codec in court
Flash video is a web-based digital video player. It is cross platform, which is why I recommend its use for digital video content delivery on your website.
Although many editing programs like Final Cut, Vegas and Premiere are capable of exporting finished video productions in Flash video (.FLV), there is more to creating a complete Flash video than just the video file.
When a digital video file is created like a H.264 (encoded to specifications of under 10 minutes and 1Gig) and uploaded to YouTube, Yahoo, MetaCafe, and Viemo, the H.264 file is converted to Flash video during the uploading process.
Many services that post PR video on their websites now only accept Flash Video (.FLV) files. HTML 5 is out and nearly taking over flash, but it still has a way to go.
If you are interested in posting a Flash video on your website, the following are the components you need in addition to the.FLV video file:
1. The.html portion - the html webpage that loads the flash player
2. The.swf portion - the compiled flash file for web (contains the flash video player)
3. The.flv portion - the actual video file for the flash player
4. ac_runactivecontent.js -the javascript file that loads the player into browsers
A non-video-production-based software program made by Adobe called Flash is used to create graphics and video for websites.
Flash Video is a file format used to deliver video over the Internet using Adobe Flash Player. The format has quickly established itself as the format of choice for embedded video on the web. Notable users of the Flash Video format include YouTube, Google Video, Yahoo, MetaCafe, Viemo, Reuters.com, and many other news providers.
Flash Video is viewable on most operating systems, via the widely available Adobe Flash Player.
Lastly, Theora standardized is still in development and not used very often, but still worth mentioning to complete your understanding of the various file formats available today.

How To Repair Dell E173fpb LCD Monitor Easily

Troubleshooting DELL E173FPB LCD Monitor with power blink symptom is quite easy if you know the right procedure to test it. There are two sections in the monitor that can cause power to blink. It is either primary or secondary section or even sometimes both sections can be faulty. So to isolate as which section is giving problem. I used an automobile 12 volt light bulb (brake light) and connect it between the 12 volt supply line and cold ground with the fuse removed. If the bulb still blink chances is very high the power primary section have problem.
Do not overlook the other voltages line as well such as the 3.3 and 5 volts. If any components shorted that gets the supply from the 5 and 3.3 volts, the power also may blink. If the 12 volts bulb lights up we can assume that the power supply is working fine and something shorted further down the line that makes the power supply to blink. If the bulb lights and you continue to check the power section, it will be going to waste your time. You should now concentrate on the secondary section circuit such as the four transistors C5707 that drive the high voltage transformer in the inverter board.
Just think these transistors like horizontal output transistor (HOT) in the CRT monitor that drive the flyback transformer where it worked so hard and chances for it to breakdown is very high. Checking the four transistors off board found one of them have a shorted reading with an ohmmeter.. This transistor can get faulty by itself or it could be some others components that caused it to develop a short circuit such as a defective high voltage transformer but all of the four high voltage transformers checked to be okay with ringer and ohmmeter test.
Now, here is the secret that I'm going to reveal. If you just replace the defective transistor only, chances is very high the transistor or another C5707 transistor will breakdown again. Usually what a technician does is to test the other transistors with either an analog or digital meter. If you use both meters to test the transistors then you have missed out on the faulty transistor because both meters won't reveal to you the hfe reading of the transistors. Only some digital meters have the hfe checking feature. In other words, you have to use test the hfe reading of a transistor. Although you can replace the other three transistors directly, why not we do some detective work to find the cause of the problem?
Using the Peak electronic atlas component analyzer, I could clearly see the different between a good and a bad transistor. A good C5707 transistor has hfe reading from 320 to about 390 but the bad one reads 467! The other two C5707 transistors have reading about 350. In the above case only two C5707 transistors were replaced and you save the other two. I had burn in test this LCD monitor for many days and it worked perfectly fine.
Conclusion- Whether you repair the DELL E173FPB LCD Monitor or any other model such as the E172FPB or E171FPB, basically the testing method is the same. You could also use this testing procedure on other brand of LCD Monitor too.

HDMI Cable - History And Trends Show The Need For A Quality HDMI Cable

HDMI cables are a high tech super highway of digital information that runs from and HDMI capable device to a TV or projector. The wire transfers uncompressed digital audio and video data from the device to the TV set for your viewing pleasure. There is a lot of digital information that runs through that little cable and that is why HDMI is taking over for older forms of analogue video playback. HDMI is capable of carrying the amount of information required to play HD video without any delays or glitches.
The cord is actually made up of many different channels. Each channel, inside the wire, carries a different signal to the device. There are eight different channels for audio feedback alone. There is a channel just for HD video playback, standard video playback and 3D video playback. In fact, HDMI is one of the only ways to deliver 3D from your capable device to your television set.
The other form of high quality playback is DVI. There is no loss of quality when a DVI to HDMI cable converter is used because the two different styles of cable utilize the same type of playback. This technology is the future of digital visual and audial playback and, with HDMI, there is not risk of going obsolete. Conversions with other digital forms of playback are seamless with a converter.
This type of digital playback started back in 2003 and quickly became the norm with the advent of high definition television. Most HD TVs are equipped with the appropriate cable insert making the HDMI cable standard for most TV watchers. In fact, this form of digital playback exceeded its rival, DVI, in 2008.
The standard for the HDMI cable was set back in 2002 when the Silicone Valley on the west coast of the United States began to develop the technology. They sought out a universal mode of carrying high quality digital information from a capable device to a television set or monitor. Silicon Valley is known for technological innovation and generally sets the world's standards.
Most cameras, DVD players, modern VHS players and smart phones are HDMI compatible, so getting an HDMI cable is a no brainer these days. Again, there is no loss in quality when there is a mini outlet or a converter. You can't go wrong with this technology, so invest in a quality cord that will last a long time.

Easy Video Player Review

I'm an actual exploiter of Easy Video Player and you'll be able to read beneath my own experience with this system software.Video Marketing is indispensable if you would like to pull in attention, acquire more web traffic to your site, get leads and make money online or if you prefer to brand your online business.Increasingly people are deciding to view videos instead of read text. It is actually a no-brain-er.
Video beats up text, easy. Since I've been searching a video result myself, the thought of being capable to reexamine the Easy Video Player scheme and try it out was a chance I could not reject. The trouble is that although it's comfortable to upload a video to YouTube and embed the video into your site or blog, you've real few alternatives for advertising your site, products or services. You are able to add up frames to your video that tell people wherever your site is or even out include a telephone number, but that's a really mediocre call-to-action.What is exciting about Easy Video Player is that you are able to make things alike send out a viewer to any web address you desire as the video stops. So you may produce a short video about one and only of your products and once the video lasts, the watcher is directed straight to where can purchase the product. As an alternative, you are able to add up a customised button deep down the video itself as a call-to-action, alike a purchase now push button that directs them exact to your shopping cart wherever they may purchase what you demonstrated them in the video.
Easy Video Player is the 1st software system I have tasted that really facilitates you advertise your product in a sense that I consider will serve me turn a lot of sales and give more leads. I do not become turned on about software package and schemes very easy, but I have not even started to think of whole the dissimilar ways I could use Easy Video Player for myself and for my customers. At one time you buy the Easy Video Player and you log-in to their site with your newly user name and parole, you're fancied to a page of instructional videos. In the first two videos, you'll discover how to arrange your Amazon S3 accounting. If you don't know what that is, just explore Google for Amazon S3 and you'll be conducted to the proper page in the 1st final result. Amazon S3 hosts your videos for you and Easy Video Player incorporates cutting-edge all right.Hosting videos on one's own server or hosting accounting is ne'er a fine thought.
Your server isn't bring about to flow live video. It does not have the resourcefulness. That's why a lot of people use YouTube.com or Amazon S3.Whenever you're attending utilise Easy Video Player, you need the Amazon S3 accounting besides a YouTube.com account. The price to make an account is just $3 (+ $0.
150 per gigabyte of memory which is really cheap), so it is deserving way much what you pay up for it. But if you prefer to host the videos on your own up web site as an alternative Easy Video Player generates you the option. When you've bought Easy Video Player, you'll be able to download the software package. The 2nd video says you how to set up Easy Video Player. You're not setting up it on your computing device. You just unzip the data files to your PC at one time you download the zip data file. It is really simple-minded and they direct you by it whenever you're not acquainted with zip files.
The data file you unzip will get a long name, but at bottom that data file is a folder named EVP, the abbreviation for Easy Video Player. That's the data file that you'll be interested with. You'll require a file transfer protocol program. FTP corresponds File Transfer Protocol. It is an uncomplicated platform that is applied to transmit files to your host.In the videos they demonstrate you precisely how to do that and even out urge a complimentary file transfer protocol program you are able to apply if you don't have one. Among the things they did overlook in the video is that with more or less hosting accounts, people utilise their panel or file manager to upload files.
All the same, if you're doing it that mode, you'll be able to still apply that technique and don't call for a FTP program. At one time the Easy Video Player folder is uploaded, at that place are a few technical affairs as though converting file permissions that you'll require to do earlier you're set up to portion out your videos worldwide by your site. None of them are actually hard and the 2nd video directs you by them stepwise.A few servers won't admit you to set the licenses they indicate in the video, but the people at Easy Video Player get a supporting section and they may assist you with any queries. I am sure enough they'll get a few.On that point are a lot of videos to look out at one time you've terminated the installing and technological topics. In the 3rd video, Getting Started, they demonstrate you however to upload video or audio data files, how to make video pages without making any encoding yourself, how to add together call-to-action buttons and even out how to add up opt-in encode for subscribers signs within your videos.
You are able to also pick out additional settings, as if auto buff, allow for total screen or not, auto play or not, auto load or not, whether or not you desire people to be capable to social bookmark the video, whether they're granted to en graft it into their own site or blog or not and more than. You are able to even decide whether they may look at your video in full-screen or not and whether or not to permit them to get commands like break or play.I detected the platform a bit slow, but not to an annoyance level. On that point are a lot of backgrounds to bring through after you pick out your choices and I accept that the many video and audio files you upload, the more durable it could ask.All the same, I also establish it's deserving the waiting. The page it produced for my video loaded up just all right and worked even as it was presupposed to. My push buttons and subscribers sign-up form made up there and everything.
It actually only called for almost 10 minutes to produce the page at one time the video was uploaded.I buried to remark a different cool down characteristic Easy Video Player affords you. You've disparate skins or ways of video player to pick out from. Likewise on that point are ground colorize options and dissimilar call-to-action buttons to opt from. You'll have to stick to the formatting that Easy Video Player digests. It won't back up WMV files as I'd have wished it to do, but at that place are complimentary changeover platforms online that will convert your WMV files in MOV files, which Easy Video Player does bear out.In the 4th video, Using Statistics, they demonstrate you how to understand the statistics that you are able to see from the admin field of Easy Video Player.
It boasts pie graphs and extra optical statistics. You recognise how numerous people see the video and how numerous of them really watch the entirely video. It gets in easy to determine however long your videos had better be and which videos are more favourite and even out which videos are bringing your full message over to your aim audience. You will experience which days gain more watchers and which state or city they come in from. And so, once again, comparing utilising Easy Video Player to en-grafting a YouTube.com video is comfortable. You can not get over all of those statistics with YouTube.
More significantly, the video also indicate you how to track the sales that are begot because of each video. You enclose tracking codification into your sales and product webpages and once a user looks at the video, then attends those pages, Easy Video Player covers them by the sales operation and affords you that information. I can not accentuate sufficient how significant just that one feature is.The Your files page reveals a list of your uploaded video and audio files with alternatives to edit out the settings to each one, cancel, view, get encode, download, etc I like the data format. It is easily to utilise and comfortable to empathise. You'll prefer to attend the settings page earlier you attend the fresh file page and so you are able to click the alternative to use Amazon S3. That's likewise wherever you are able to readjust your parole and pick out additional generalised choices.
On the New File Tab you upload your videos and audio files. You pick out the selection to use Amazon S3 or browsing and upload the files to your own up host. Once again, I prefer to accentuate that uploading them to your own server isn't the finest option. If the bandwidth of your host isn't high sufficient you'll find that the video won't load quick sufficient to ask over users to remain to the page and look on it.The Help tab conducts you to a page that will reply almost interrogations you have. It has links up to assist you set up your Amazon S3 accounting and more than.My general belief of Easy Video Player is that it's the most effective one I've discovered for utilising video in your site for selling your products and services.
The finest characteristic is however it conducts users to any web address you desire after looking at the video and the call up to action push button (or any other hypertext mark-up language code you need) within the video itself. The statistical tracking alternatives, particularly those that assist you track the sales you do from those who see the video is the following best boast in my judgement.3rd, would be the alternatives for adding up extra calls to action and automatically fathering a video page without being forced to encode it myself. And 4th would be the easy-to-use admin field. No one will have a trouble navigating by that area and realising all of the choices at that place.I'd unquestionably advocate Easy Video Player for anybody who prefer to advertise products and services on net or even to offer up Internet courses or just for furnishing data.

The Role of a Pre-Amplifier in a Car Audio System

Car Audio Amplifier systems are becoming more and more popular as time passes, simply because technology has provided people with a way to listen to their music the car with tremendous power and quality. Most people will install a power amplifier into their subwoofer speaker system. However, if you are a bass freak who love superior sound quality, another good element to have is the pre-amplifier.
Many car owners are relying on a pre-amplifier to improve the quality and power boost of sound emanating from their car's subwoofer speaker system. It is not always necessary but is becoming increasingly popular in car stereo systems. The pre-amplifier is great when you want to add a clearer bass that has a lower level of distortion.
What is a pre-amplifier and what does it do?
The pre-amplifier's main function in the subwoofer speaker system is to prepare the power amplifier's signal. There are various types of pre amps, such as USB, tube, and phono pre-amplifiers. However, the pre-amplifier you would use in your car's subwoofer speaker system would be a stereo pre-amplifier.
The pre-amplifier is used to improve the overall quality of sound in a car's audio system. A key thing to keep in mind is that the pre-amplifier supplies voltage only, not a current. The power amplifier is the component that provides the current, so therefore you cannot have one without the other. Think of it as a team where the pre-amplifier throws the ball to the power amplifier, and the power amplifier shoots the goal.
In your car's stereo system the pre amp is the "middle man" for the audio input "stereo" and the power amplifier. When you turn your stereo on it sends an audio signal to your pre SMSL SA-50 Digital Amplifier. The pre amplifier then takes that signal and levels it out if it is too low. It then sends the level signal to the power amplifier and the power amplifier will add the boost or power needed to get the best signal to your loud speakers.
Some stereo systems are coming equipped with both a pre-amplifier and a power amplifier integrated together. There is a debate on the quality of this method among serious audiophiles. It is safe to say if you have the power amplifier and the pre-amplifier in separate areas of your car audio system you will not have to make as many compromises on sound quality. The pre-amplifier in your car's subwoofer speaker system will also be like a control panel. From here you can control connections, levels, volume, etc.
Pre-amplifiers are a great piece to have when installing a subwoofer speaker system into your car. They will add to the overall quality, power, and sound to your car's audio system. Some people choose to leave out the pre-amplifier altogether, but if you want the best quality you will want to be sure to include it.

Digital Media Video Production

Entertainment comes in several different packages, and in every genre of entertainment, there comes two groups of people: the consumer audience and the producers. The consumer audience has the cash to spend, and producers have the job of pleasing the spender.
The average audience member recognizes specific actors on screen and will discriminate against what film they'll see based upon their memories of the joy, pain, and overall feelings they received when watching said actors in other projects and films. The fact is, that an excellent or even a subpar actor or actress, only plays one small part of the whole in bringing an enjoyable entertainment experience to the screen.
I'm not trying to downplay the importance of the actor. Anyone who's in the business of acting in live theater will tell you that the key players in Broadway productions are the actors, but there are so many supporting players that help prepare the actors and actresses leading up to the opening curtains. Positions include those of the director as well as set design, costumes, and makeup departments. However, the jobs of these people end when the curtain rises. The only workers who support the actors through a production are those of the tech crew, and the orchestra, if there is one. However, once the curtains rise, it is the actor who has to carry the show to success or failure in real time.
When it comes to film and cinema, the actor's job concludes months and sometimes years before the film opens in the box office. While I'm not an expert in the history of cinema by any means, it would appear to me that the hardest and most under appreciated jobs in Hollywood are those individuals and departments that are located behind the camera and the glitz of Hollywood glamour.
If you have digital media video production in your educational and professional background, and feel you possess the skills necessary to land a job in Hollywood, then networking can be a valuable tool in getting noticed and landing the job of your dreams.
If you don't know where to begin with networking, then you may be interested in a digital media organization that provides this benefit for you. The International Digital Media and Arts Association, also known as iDMAa, offers exactly that: an outlet for you to network with professionals in the industry that you are aiming to land a career in.

Finding a Custom Made LCD Monitor Stand

The needs of various industrial sectors ought to be fulfilled with creativity and advancement. Indeed, technology is really essential nowadays our world is unimaginable without it. It would be extremely tough for individuals to find an office in this age without even a single computer with a monitor. To add to that, folks are now so good at multi-tasking that they have to have many monitors to simultaneously view data. These screens are usually attached on several LCD monitor arms.
The extensive usage of multiple LCD screens has led countless company owners and executives to request custom-made LCD monitor stand products. Today, many organisations can fulfill that need, making this a very competitive market. The healthcare market, government departments, and security areas of properties are merely a number of the markets where a custom-made triple or dual monitor mount is necessary for daily tasks.
Inside the security sections of business office buildings, for instance, it is possible to come across security personnel viewing tenant and visitor activity inside it. If it's a huge property, then you'll most likely come across 4 or more LCD screens attached to a couple of LCD monitor arms. These types of inventions allow it to be a breeze for security personnel to view and observe people's actions within a building.
An LCD monitor stand is usually very beneficial to healthcare workers worldwide. An LCD screen can be attached to a dual monitor mount (which can be either put into a vertical or horizontal position) that is securely fixed to LCD monitor arms. These screens are valuable in the medical industry because they're used during surgical treatment or in laboratories.
These custom-made mounts are not only designed for the work place, though. People can have fun with them, too. Gaming fans can now enjoy viewing several displays simultaneously and keep track of what their buddies are doing during an online game. These LCD mounts could be turned several degrees upward or downward depending on anyone's viewing needs. These can also be fitted by just about anybody due to the fact an LCD monitor stand was created to be assembled without having to use a variety of tools.
An LCD monitor stand can have a number of LCD monitor arms. Some are designed as a dual monitor mount, and some can accommodate 3 or 4 LCD screens at one time. Clients can indicate to manufacturers if they would like these arms positioned horizontally or vertically according to their needs. High-grade monitor stands have quick release pivot mechanisms in order that owners or workers may easily mount or dismount an LCD screen from it.
Special consideration is also directed at the design which will adhere to ergonomic standards. An LCD monitor stand can be realigned according to the height of the people who'll use the monitors. This can help people get a better view on the task at hand and decreases strain on the upper body.
Company owners, facility supervisors, and people in various fields can ask a manufacturer to make these products based on their demands and industry. Though one size will not fit all, an LCD monitor stand could be custom-made so that maximum efficiency will be achieved

Winning At Video Poker - The Only 4 Tips You Need to Win Big!

Video Poker is a slot machine which involves a level of skill and you can get the odds in your favor, if you know how to play correctly.
The odds of you winning at Video poker are determined by following 4 simple tips, that are easy to learn.
If you apply them, you will dramatically enhance your chances of success.
How to Play
Firstly, let's look at how the game is played.
Video Poker has the same rules as draw poker, except that you play a machine rather than other players.
The machine deals five cards on the screen. The player can, take up to five new cards or keep any he has.
The player keeps the cards they want to keep by hitting the "hold" button that corresponds to the individual card shown.
When the choice is made the player presses the "play" button, and the cards discarded are replaced by new ones.
The result of the game is determined by the outcome after the final hand is dealt.
4 simple to tips to win big!
Here are only four tips for winning at video poker and then you're all set, to have fun and have the odds in your favor
Tip 1 - Get the best odds of success from the start
Video poker machines are based upon a 52 card deck and there are 2,598,960 possible hands combinations.
The programme in a video poker machine is programmed to simulate the probabilities of drawing any combination from the deck.
Because this is a set probability, casinos adjust the pay tables to produce the house edge.
The payouts for all video poker machines are the same except for the payout on the flush, full house or royal flush.
This means playing the highest paying machines as this puts the odds in your favor
Here are comparisons of payouts on a jacks-or-better machine.
Payout Payout with Strategy
9 for a full house 6 for a flush 99.5%
8 for a full house 5 for a flush 97.4%
7 for a full house 5 for a flush 96.3%
etc
A 9 / 6 machine will hit a royal flush around once every 40,000 hands. The 8 / 5 odds are once every 45,000 hands so you need to play machines with best payout
Tip 2 - Play maximum coins.
If you bet five coins, all winning hands are paid out by a factor of five, except for the royal flush. This is a bonus amount designed as an incentive to play five coins.
If a player plays less than maximum coins then they won't win a Royal Flush and can't win at video poker longer term.
Tip 3 - You need to play for a long time
A player, on the 9 / 6 machine, has odds of 1:40,000 of getting a Royal Flush, or equivalent to around 100 hours of play.
You need to play any Video poker machine until you win a Royal Flush to emerge ahead
Your bankroll comes from your own resources, or by collecting money from the intermediate hands that give you income along the way.
Winning at video poker does not mean playing for the odd hour! You need to play for a long time and be patient.
Tip 4 - playing with a strategy.
If you want to increase your chances of winning at video poker, play with a strategy. There are slight differences between games and different strategy cards need to be used, but their all easy to learn.
There are plenty of free strategy cards on the internet. Simply, print one and keep it for reference and refer to if you need to.
So, there are the 4 tips, use them and good luck in your quest for consistent jackpots.

Video Resumes: An Advanced Job Search Strategy For Ex-Offenders

Are you an ex-offender struggling to find a job? If so, you may want to try an advanced job search strategy provided that you are creative and have good computer skills. This strategy involves creating a different type of resume that will enhance your traditional resume. The type of resume that I am hinting at is actually a video resume.
A video resume allows you to share your work experience and academic accomplishments in video format. It also allows an employer to get a feel for you as if you were face-to-face in an actual interview versus only having the ability to read your physical cover letter and resume.
This type of resume is very different from your paper resume. It can actually be a doubled edge sword in that it has the ability help you or hurt you as a job applicant. The end result depends upon the perception of the hiring manager who is viewing it. Now on a more positive note, the great thing about them is that they provide you with the opportunity to add value, to tell a story about yourself, and to highlight your skills or anything else that you're proud of.
Ideally, you should view your video resume as a supplement to your traditional resume-not something to use in place of it. If used properly, it can be a powerful tool for introducing you to a potential employer. Another benefit includes being able to distribute it in e-mails, social network pages, and various other advertising platforms. You should think about your video resume as a 1 minute video "commercial" about you and why you would make an excellent employee. That being said, the video resume is the new way employers look at, screen and hire applicants.
Creating a video resume does not have to be a difficult or time-consuming project if you plan ahead? Be sure to tailor it to the industry in which you are seeking a job. Also, before you begin recording, you should have your 60 second script well-planned and written in advance. Once you have that taken care of, then it's time record the video.
Be professional throughout the recording and approach the video resume as if it were an in-person interview. Think of it as your personal story. The best part about a video resume is that it can be used on external media, like a DVD or a thumb drive, as well as on the Internet, on your social media profiles or website. Now, go and do some deep thinking to see if a video resume is something that feels right for you. If not, then don't do it. The decision is entirely up to you.

Scientific Finding Reveals Tetris Video Game May Improve Lazy Eye

The 80's were certainly a memorable decade for a lot of video gamers. A lot of us remember games like "Pac-Man" and "Space Invaders" associated with video Atari game systems. These were a source of excitement, fun and entertainment, but did you know that a popular video game from the 80's called Tetris may actually improve eye health? According to research conducted by McGill University Health Center, if you are wondering how you can eliminate lazy eye, the video game Tetris may be a possible solution to your eye problem. Therefore, if you are a video game fan who is seeking a fun and entertaining way to improve this eye condition naturally without risky surgery, here is some interesting information regarding the findings of this University study.
Scientists at McGill University are touting the video game Tetris as a means by which patients may reduce lazy eye. This is because it may improve the ability of the eyes to function together efficiently by sending visual information to both eyes at the same time. Why is this essential? Well, according to this scientific finding, playing sessions of Tetris provides the kind of stimulus that results in an improvement in the teamwork of both eyes. This stimulation retrains the lazy eye causing it to adapt and eventually open wider. This is related to the scientific fact that the brain is adaptive in terms of its plasticity. This is an exciting finding for people who have been inquiring about solutions as to how they may get rid of Lazy eye.
According to scientific findings, sessions of Tetris increases the rapid firing of neurons in the brain. This rapid fire also stimulates and activates the brain centers responsible for vision, thereby re-training the brain to adapt to using the lazy eye more efficiently. Therefore, this leads to positive changes in the visual system as the lazy eye begins to adjust to staying open for longer periods of time.
You may be wondering how long video gamers should play Tetris to see positive changes in their condition. According to the scientists who conducted this study, the patients who played only about 15 minutes a day for a 2 week period saw an improvement in their lazy eye.
What is particularly interesting is the fact that the video game Tetris was most effective when played dichoptically. In other words, each eye sees a separate part of the game. For example, the stronger eye sees the base of the game while the impaired eye sees the game pieces.
Tetris improves the teamwork of both eyes while stimulating the lazy eye to adapt to functioning more efficiently. In the process, it may reduce lazy eye. Such scientific findings and studies are a source of hope for Tetris video game fans possibly eliminating the unwelcome alternative of surgery. Ultimately, Tetris game therapy may offer a source of treatment for Lazy eye that is not only fun and entertaining, but beneficial in treating this eye condition naturally.

Visionmaster LCD Video Wall Systems for Control Rooms

The absence of adequate floor space in modern control rooms make LCD videowall displays preferable to the deeper DLP projection cubes that were the standard for many years. Although these flat panel displays can be mounted on the wall to minimize their footprint, Americon's Visionmaster freestanding cabinet for LCD videowall displays are gaining popularity because of other advantages.
While there are several modular videowall systems on the market, the Visionmaster LCD video wall stands out with its versatility and unique features designed for security monitoring, military, process control, emergency operations, and network monitoring applications.
Here are a few key attributes of Americon Visionmaster LCD videowall systems that make them the right choice for both large and small control rooms as well as emergency operations centers:
  • Self-contained and free standing in 12" deep custom cabinetry that conceals the equipment and cables while allowing easy access from both the front and backside. Choose from 'thin' or 'ultra thin' bezel commercial LCD displays with LED back lighting depending on your application and budget.

  • Modular design that shifts the weight of the displays from the wall to the floor. This is important when the control room is in a commercial building where the walls are not capable of supporting the weight of large wall-mounted displays. If operating in an earthquake-prone zone, the Visionmaster LCD videowall cabinet is easily attached to the wall preventing the cabinet and its components from falling forward.

  • Expandable depending on wall space and ceiling height. These LCD videowall systems grow as requirements grow and can be easily relocated without having to renovate the space.

  • Modern video wall controllers that allow the operator to place and size a wide range of high definition sources like TV and computers anywhere on the videowall. Pre-loaded Windows software and supporting peripherals such as wireless keyboard and mouse and optional touch panel control system.

  • Integrated sound system with speakers and audio controller built into the base. Freestanding video wall systems are complete systems that include displays, supporting electronics, storage space, racks and high-quality cabinetry that can be brought in the room and put into operation with training done the same day.
As important, the Americon Visionmaster LCD videowall is a product that has been carefully designed for easy installation and operation as well as easy maintenance. The installation and training procedures take no more than one day in most cases and the price is commensurate to wall mounted videowalls. Americon Visionmaster video wall display systems are more flexible than wall mounted versions and are surprisingly economical.

How Video And Offline Promotional Tactics Can Get You More Traffic asd

Have you ever considered doing a lot of free marketing to drive traffic to your website? I know for some people, free marketing is a tedious process that can take all day to do. But what you get in return are highly qualified leads that you can easily convert into paid customers. But if you want this, it all starts with website traffic.
Getting website traffic is something that many people struggle with. They try paid advertising venues like pay per click (PPC), but after the huge surge of traffic that they get from there, they have no more money to invest into it. This is a big thing because without targeted traffic coming to your website, how will you make money?
I want to go over a few traffic strategies that you can do that can explode your traffic (if done consistently), and can help you to get the recurring sales and figures that you are looking for. You've probably heard of these strategies, but I want to delve deep into the heart of the matter and show you how they can be profitable for you. Here's the first traffic strategy that I want to go over with you:
1) Video promotion
Using videos to get people to your website is an excellent idea. You will probably have to start off with a site like YouTube or Dailymotion, but with this technique, you could also setup your own video blog. It's the same thing as a regular blog, except (obviously)... they are filled with your videos.
I think this is a great way to get promotion to your site with videos. I create videos all the time, and each new one that I create goes straight to YouTube, and then to my video blog. It's a good strategy to use, and marketing with videos is something that can make all the difference in your business. Here's another tip for getting traffic for your website:
2) Offline promotion
Many entrepreneurs online disregard offline marketing and options available via offline promotion. But in fact, some of your best, repeat buyers will come from offline! So it would be senseless NOT to run some offline ads and direct mail campaigns to try and target these people.
You will want to make sure that your product price is high enough to at least break even on every sale that you get. And if you make a little bit of profit, then great! Put that new customer into your backend marketing funnel and continue to sell to them over and over again. This is the where the bulk of your sales will come from. as
No matter how you decide to get your website traffic, make sure that it's profitable. You don't want to do questionable traffic strategies, but just put yourself on a sensible path for getting as much traffic and sales on a daily basis - ethically and legally. It's something that you should live by, and this philosophy is something that will help you to prevail - no matter what you sell online.
Good luck with generating traffic to your website today.

Video Games and Major Motion Pictures

Sometimes the movies or films are created first, and sometimes the games are created first. When the producers of either love the movie or the game itself that much (or it's an intellectual property that's used in both contexts and another medium), they make a decision to cross over to the other side of the entertainment world. It's not only highly creative, but it demands a very intelligent and imaginative mind to accomplish something like this.

What are the names of some movies that you know have been made into games already? Do you remember, and have you invested in any of the following as of yet?

Dead or Alive was a martial arts film that was based on the actual video game. The successful Arkam Asylum game capitalizes on a simultaneous resurgence in the Batman franchise that went with a trilogy of movies.

Halo was set to be made into a big budget film, but the making of it has been stalled many times. After all of the tug of war's between the potential director, producer, and Microsoft, it is still up in the air. The creative director of Microsoft's internal division, Frank O'Connor, who directed the making of all of the high production video games from the Halo brand, oversees the making of the movie as well, and still believes that one will be made in the future. Stephen Spielberg did express an interest, but Halo the movie has not been made.

What Type of Education Do You Need?

That depends on your intrinsic personality type along with your particular interests. Games design takes programmers, while movies are camera and film skill oriented, but both need writers, animators and musical composers, as well as actors. If you are interested in games, or movies to the point where you would want to be involved in creating one or the other, you should also have both an interest and ability to use the computer.

Even more importantly - Consider majoring in a technical computer degree and/or a gaming development degree. Or, if you already started a technical degree, take it a step further and pursue something in the entertainment area, such as film production programs. High production video games are in very high demand, and so are great movies. Alternatively if you are looking to score games and movies, audio engineering schools may be a much better choice.

This is a part of the economy that isn't expected to slow down any time soon. If you already attend college or tech school for these specific majors, you should consider researching the various topics discussed here if video games and high production films peak your curiosity.

Remember, it's important to have an open mind along with creativity, and the willingness to learn everything you can.

Visit Trebas Institute for more information on other ways to break into film and games like audio school.

Cut The Cord: Media Players Stream The Video From The Net

Streaming Net video to your TV? Why not: it is better than cable - and it gets better and better every day!

Roku, in its recent third incarnation, looks cooler than ever: a new, much improved interface and times faster processor speed makes Roku three faster and more responsive than any other video-streaming box on the market.

Probably the most popular streaming devices available today are Apple TV and Roku.

Roku three streaming player is simple to set up, even for those of us who feel a small bit of apprehension when confronted for the first time with a new tech gadget.

Roku's new, slick interface makes the competition look  old-fashioned; however, Apple TV still works better within the Apple ecosystem (no surprises there!). Also, if you are looking to buy the player that is best suited for streaming your personal digital media collection, Apple TV is a more sensible choice.

Roku three boasts with over 700 channels: Netflix, Amazon Instant, HBO Go, Vudu, Hulu And, Spotify, Pandora, MLB.TV, Amazon Cloud Player - to name the most recognizable names. You will, though, probably be disappointed to listen to that there is no official YouTube channel in sight yet!

All those channels are neatly arranged in a grid, so switching between services or scrolling through menus is basically and quickly accomplished.

If you are looking for any digital title or actor, for example, you can type its name in the new cross-platform search: it will search across all the multitude of channels it supports, and tell you where to find whatever it is you are looking for.

There is as well as a "private" or "silent viewing" option, thanks to an innovative remote with built-in headphone jack, so you can watch without disturbing others by directly plugging the included in-ear headphones in to remote control. The remote itself is improved: mount it wherever you require, because it can work without you pointing it at the device.

With the new Roku three you can also share images by Facebook, Flickr, and Picasa, or play games thanks to an aforementioned newly redesigned motion-control remote.

Roku supports 1080p HD, dual-band wireless, Ethernet port, USB port and microSD slot.

It is a small, but powerful device; comparatively cheap. Apple, your move!

Of coursework, the video quality will vary depending on your existing net connection speed (that can also vary in the coursework of the coursework of the day).

With all the new video streaming possibilities those devices bring, possibly it is time to say goodbye to your cable or satellite bills!

The Expertise Behind HDMI Cables

With the development & availability of High Definition televisions, HDMI (High definition multimedia interface) cables are being used to connect the signal source to the display tool, usually a tv or computer display. These cables over both the audio & video signal in digital format, eliminating signal loss which are common in DVI & analog cables. As a result the images obtained using HDMI cables are clearly defined & do not have the blurs or fuzzy edges which analog video cables have. Since these cables over digital signals, they may also be used for carrying Consumer electronic controls (CEC) digital signals for switching devices on or off.

This expertise may even be classified as standard HDMI cables (section one) with a bandwidth of 75 Mhz used for home entertainment systems & high speed HDMI cables (section two) with a bandwidth of 340 MHz. The high speed cables are used for applications where a higher resolution & refresh rates are necessary like cinema theaters.

HDMI expertise has been developed by a quantity of the largest consumer electronic companies in the world such as Panasonic, Hitachi, Philips, Sony & Toshiba & were initially used for tv. Today plenty of of these companies use HDMI as the default standard. The latest HDMI standard is one.3 based on consumer requirements. This standard allows for cables with a bandwidth of 340 MHz (one.2 Gbps) allowing much higher picture resolutions. It supports ten bit, 12 bit or 16 bit color depths allowing the display to render up to billion different colors on the screen. HDMI standard one.3 also makes a provision for a connector with a smaller form factor, which can be used for connecting to compact devices such as HD camcorders & cameras.

There may be some variations in the quality of material used for cable sheath or covering. A thicker cable cover, made from fire resistant polymer compound will be more expensive. This expertise has greatly simplified the installation of plenty of audio & video devices, as the number of cables to be used is consolidated in to a single cable.

HDMI cables use copper conductors & are recommended for connecting devices at a distance of up to0 meters. For longer distances, there may be some signal degradation, so HDMI repeaters may be needed, though the quality of the transmitter & receiver in the HDTV & Tool may also select the signal quality. These cables are compatible with DVI devices, & can be used interchangeably. For short distances of less than meters, there is tiny difference in the quality of images for HDMI cables of different quality. However, for longer distances, the cables quality & connectors used may make a difference.

Who Uses an HMDI Video Matrix, and What Is It for?

To get those high definition feeds where they need to go quickly, correctly and without any loss of quality, an HDMI Video Matrix router is essential. A reliable router allows users to control the various HD inputs and outputs they need with ease. Matrixes come in a variety of input and output configurations, designated as 2x2 to represent inputs and outputs. With larger configurations, the plenty of makes use of and incredible flexibility an HDMI Video Matrix provides for users becomes clear.

When it comes to video and audio quality in 2013, it is high definition or bust. From streaming videos on a mobile tool to omnipresent displays at the nearest shopping middle, HD is all over the place and it is basically what people expect now. The delivery systems for HD video and audio are not as basic as plugging in the bunny ears behind an elderly TV set. Quality parts are necessary for the limitless makes use of of HD signals, which permeate modern life.

While some applications for intuitive control over HD video and audio may appear obvious - say, a sports bar managing various sporting events over numerous HD screens across the restaurant - but plenty of people are surprised when they recognize how pervasive HD content is in every day life. Hospitals, for example, need a fast and basically updateable way to tell patients, visitors and those waiting to be seen. Think about a night club looking to impress patrons with an fascinating and matchless visual display. Stores love the flexibility of digital signage, giving them the ability to show a tantalizing display of their offerings. Security centers need a constant, switchable feed to keep their clients safe. These are a number of the venues where an HDMI Video Matrix is an absolute must for users who need to deliver crystal clear content as a part of their business or service.

For businesses, individuals and process architects, finding a reliable and expandable series of HDMI Video Matrix routers is key. There is no better series on the market today than SmartAVI's MXCORE-HD Series of HDMI Video Matrix routers, which are designed and manufactured in the USA and can be built up to a configuration of 32x32. With a diverse clientele that starts with NASA, DreamWorks Studios, Monte Carlo Resort and Casino and continues on from there, it is clear that industry professionals across the globe depend on SmartAVI as the go-to solutions provider for any professional audio-video process.

The Advantages and Disadvantages of Video Conferencing

Video conferencing is similar to the popular video phones where you can call anyone around the world and not only speak with them, but see them on your computer or television screen during the conversation. The difference is that video conferencing is intended to work for larger conferences rather than serving the needs of individual consumers, often using closed circuit television.

While many businesses have taken this technology under wing as a useful tool, there are advantages and disadvantages of video conferencing which must be considered before you decide if it will work for your meeting needs or not.

Advantages

1. Reach anyone you need to reach immediately, no matter what time of day it may be for anyone involved. Time differences between states and countries can be overlooked without anyone traveling long distances for the conference.

2. While a phone call may suffice for two people who need to have a short conversation, web-based conferencing allows large rooms of people at different locations to interact with one another effectively. Ten business execs in Amsterdam can easily interact with five others in New York and two in Tokyo to create a full conference with everyone able to see and hear perfectly.

3. PowerPoint and other visual displays can be shared with everyone attending the conference at the same time, giving the feel of everyone being in one room and keeping everyone on task and focused.

4. Virtual whiteboards allow people from different locations to add in their own thoughts or ideas into one collaborative space. This enables everyone to form a plan of action or collaborate on a design or slogan instantly.

5. It is possible, with some services, for everyone to gain access to another computer, seeing whatever is on that computer screen. With more advanced services, a document can even be changed and typed into directly from other computers connected into the conference. Businesses that require active collaboration on one project form can be greatly enhanced with this possibility.

Disadvantages

1. The price may be the biggest drawback for some people, though there are very cheap options if you do not require the more advanced features. Usually, a business that can make good use of the more advanced features often finds that the money they save flying clients or employees around the country or world more than makes up for the cost of the service provider. As fuel becomes more of an issue around the world, the price becomes less of a disadvantage and more of an advantage.

2. There are some human ways of communicating that do not translate very well over a distance, such as eye contact. When you sit in the same room with someone and listen to a speech or presentation you will make eye contact and they will judge who is paying attention by looking around the room. Much of this contact is not easily delivered through a webcam.

The advantages and disadvantages of video conferencing have to be weighed against your purpose and whether there will be something valuable lost through this technology that you don't want to give up.

Why Should You Use Video Conferencingg

Connecting two or more locations at the same time through a video is the main idea of Video Conferencing, which has made many advancements since its inception into the business world. It was no doubt expensive and highly technically based hardware system which could transmit an image for every two seconds, now we see conferencing system which are web base simple software solutions which enables any one to operate. We also can see the software Video conferencing solutions have become less expensive and affordable for many business organizations.

The following reasons also make business organizations consider online conferencing as a notable eminent tool for their businesses:

1. Visibility at multiple locations: Face to face meeting cannot be totally avoided by the use of any type of technology which is the sam with web base conferencing, but it is a fact that connecting through broadband internet connection enables to use all the features of video conferencing, no matter where you are located, still be visible to all the required locations of all the members of the conference scattered around the world, which helps out many preliminary discussions to be done with out the difficulty of traveling all round the branches of the company. Video conferencing ends the struggle of using public conference halls and hotels creating hindrances by not allowing installations.

2. compatibility with the existing accessories: Today we see that many business organization have started using hardware based video conferencing, the upcoming software based solution is more easy to connect from any where in the world with minimum accessories like microphone and speakers. If the members of the company need to be connected we see that the software video conferencing compatibility helps a lot.
3. Technically simple: New innovations daily, expecting more and more people to use technology, complexity to learn keeps the people away. It is not the high-end technology which can reach the people, but the technology which is easy to learn and handle on their own makes them own it. We see that there were days when it required highly technical people to connect and hold the meeting using video conferencing boardrooms, but now one can connect to a conference just by clicking a link and thanks to the networking we have, the link can be sent to the members through chat, Facebook, twitter and so on. It is not needed to be a tech savvy to get into the conference.

4. No Complicated Requirements: The software video conferencing solutions of today are much compatible to the existing accessories so it is easy to connect. It allows to use less complicated machines to get connected to a conference and connecting with desktop, laptop or a mobile from the office, home or a hotel room. accessibility from anywhere makes the technology more flexible and an eminent business tool.

5.Product Presentation through Web: Presenting the products live using corporate video conferencing is more easier to get into contact of customers and making the products reach them. The customers feel more comfortable as they need not commit any thing and get a detailed presentation of the product they are going to buy.
